WOYWW: Monkeys!

Welcome to this week's rendition of WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday). I have arrived fashionably late, as usual. You'd think that I didn't actually realize what day of week it was...But here you are, making a lovely little visit to my page!

Here it is, the desk you have all been waiting for (yes, I am assuming that you spent all week pent up watching for this post).

I do apologize for the first one being a bit blurry. That was not my intention. I apparently was a bit sloppy tonight with the photo shoot.

On the far left you will see my canvas still chilling on the table. I made some movement to finish, but still haven't found my muse. Next to it I've set the stage to begin my next project, and to the far right are some new papers that haven't found a home.

If you can't tell by the picture, and me saying so, I'm beginning a new album. I made it out to Busy Scrappin this past weekend and shopped their clearance table. It was buy one get one free. I came away with 18 sheets of paper, 4 sticker packs, one border sticker sheet, and a double sided adhesive decal for $25. Win! I felt so victorious that I braved the world of online hobby shopping and made a purchase with Two Peas and Bucket. /facepalm
Why is paper so addictive??

But back to the album. It is the Monkey Adventures line from Reminisce:

Super cute, right?

This album is going to be for the toddler of our best friends. He is addicted to cars. I realized when I saw the paper that 1. I had never made Leo a book 2. His birthday is in March, and 3. Monkeys in Cars!

Oh, before I go I wanted to let you know that although I had not completed my canvas, I did try paint splatter on it. I love it!

Thank you for taking the time to read through my rambles! If you'd like to snoop some more workstations and studios, hop on over to Julia's blog Stamping Ground. She is the brilliant creator of WOYWW. :D

Have a great Thursday!

A Lovely project to work on and I agree how nice it is to buy things sometimes. That just new moment before we use it and wondering how our projects will work.

I have a rug in my classroom that matches your stickers. All my students, ages 6 -10, like to sit on it for different activities. Your canvas' background looks great and would love to see what you come up with. Blessings!

Love the bargins you have have brought. In answer to your question I found it really easy to unmount my wooden stamps from the blocks I just did it gently and all came away nicely. They are now all stored in the new case. Enjoy doing your scrap book

Super cute little boy-oriented papers and stickers! Hey, at least you are using things up and not just admiring them. :-) I just placed a Two Peas order today. I need a new album to house Christmas layouts and they had one on sale I liked. So of course, I *had* to put some papers in with it, right? Thanks for visiting me. Happy WOYWW belatedly. ~ Laura

Jeanna - thank you for stopping by my blog. I find the more tabletop space I have the better. So I just love those banquet tables and I can store stuff under them.
Great canvas - can't wait to see what you add.
