Happy New Year and welcome to my first ever WOYWW [What is on your Workdesk Wednesday]. Okay, it is a bit late on a Wednesday, but I still have 2hours left in the day, and I will make them count! I didn't want to be inappropriate and post it last night. And I don't yet know how to create time delayed posts...you know, you write it and it gets posted later :)
So, I know what you must be thinking.. Totally staged! Is not! Okay, maybe a little...In my defense I just finished my last project, that cute little BabySaurus book, and wanted to plow straight into the next project. (Sneak peak of the Dino book at the end of the blog ;) It may seem unusual but I really love completely clearing the "stage" of everything that was part of the last project. Then I cover it back up with the new one! I figured since I actually wanted to participate in WOYWW [first time ever!!] I'd make it somewhat pleasant looking.
My work desk is actually a fold up table we purchased from Lowe's...or Home Depot...and it is awesome as a work station. I can move it anywhere in the room, and it can even move floors to double as a buffet table! Nifty, right? Also, because it is so long, I can keep all materials and tools on one side (not counting the trimmer) and work on the other half.
So what is on my work station, you ask. My next project is another baby mini book. I know, you are surprised. But his time it is for a little gal. The paper is from American Crafts: Dear Lizzy collection. It's the Neapolitan line. I purchased it in one of Archiver's Value Packs. Best purchasing idea I made that day. I'm pairing it with American Crafts Thickers and Echo Park Hello, Summer Line by Lori Whitlock. I have the Hello, Summer stickers left over from a Make & Take with Archiver's. I may be an addict of their store. If you are interested, I can go into more detail about products used after I complete the mini book.
Maybe next Wednesday I will actually be working on something for my own household. It'll be a real shocker, so brace yourselves.
I appreciate that you stopped by! Please stop on over to Stamping Ground from Julia Dunnit to check out the source for this funtastic WOYWW trend. She also has a place for you to link up your own work desk!
And that sneak peak, as promised! I will finish more on the finished product after the recipient has had a chance to enjoy it. I don't want to give the surprise away!

Happy first WOYWW!! Your completed baby book looks very sweet and I'm sure your baby girl one will come together well with all the yummy supplies you've got waiting. I bought some of that Dear Lizzy line but haven't used it yet. Glad you've joined in! ~ Laura #79 [The numbers, in case it's not wildly obvious, correspond to where we are in the list on Julia's blog this particular week.]
Sorry I am so late, it takes me nearly a week to work my way around. Happy new year to you. Love your desk, so neat and tidy and organised. Tracey R ±48

My whole work area is made up of the those tables. 1 6' and the others are 4'. They are perfect for scrapping. And shelving will fit under them. :-) April #110
